Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 15 October 2026

These terms govern your use of www.nslship.com and form part of every quotation and service provided by Nashrah Shipping & Logistics (Pvt.) Ltd. ("NSL"). By using this website or our services you agree to them.

1. Website use

The content of this website is for general information only. Guides, transit times and duty information are indicative and may change without notice. You must not misuse the website, attempt to gain unauthorised access or submit false information through our forms.

2. Quotations

Quotations are based on the information provided and on carrier rates and exchange rates at the time of quoting. They are valid for the period stated (or 7 days if none is stated) and are subject to space and equipment availability. Surcharges imposed by carriers or authorities after the quote may be added.

3. Customer obligations

The customer must provide accurate and complete information about the goods, including description, HS code, weight, value and any dangerous or regulated nature, and must supply all documents required by customs and carriers in good time. The customer is responsible for duties, taxes, fines and costs arising from inaccurate information.

4. Services and subcontracting

NSL may act as agent or as principal (NVOCC) depending on the service. NSL may use carriers, terminals, warehouses, hauliers and agents of its choice to perform the services. Where NSL issues its own bill of lading, the terms of that bill of lading apply to the carriage — see our Bill of Lading terms.

5. Liability

NSL's liability for loss of or damage to goods is limited as set out in the applicable bill of lading, international conventions and the standard trading conditions of PIFFA where applicable. NSL is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control. We strongly recommend arranging cargo insurance.

6. Payment

Unless credit terms have been agreed in writing, charges are payable before release of cargo or documents. NSL has a general lien on goods and documents in its possession for all sums due.

7. Claims

Any claim for loss or damage must be notified in writing as soon as possible and in any event within the time limits set out in the applicable bill of lading or conventions.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and the courts of Karachi have exclusive jurisdiction.
